Bruce

Bruce was my private saxophone teacher in my early saxophoning days. He was a terrific player, especially jazz, and he and his dad introduced me to so many great albums and artists as a hungry, young musician. When I caught the composing bug in my middle school days, I remember telling Bruce (somewhat facetiously) that someday he'll "see my CDs at the local Borders Books & Music!" He laughed at me (also somewhat facetiously) and told me rather candidly that it would never happen. He was right, though. My music won't ever be in the CD racks at Borders. They liquidated all of their stores back in 2011.
