Dawn Parker

Dawn was my middle school band director. One day when I was in the 7th grade, she pulled me into her office to tell me, "you're pretty good at the saxophone. You should keep going." 25+ years later, I still have my saxophone, and although I don't play anymore, somehow band continues to be a huge part of my life. Sometimes its the smallest words that have the biggest impact.
